Customer Review: Furnace Repair-Upgrade
This is a replacement for the 2nd blower that was installed by the manufacturer, it has now been on the furnace for 2 years, is still quiet, runs great, seems to have better bearings in the motor then the "original" blower.
Customer Review: Goodman draft inducer B1859005
Very impressed with the construction. The open frame and twin cooling fans for the motor realy impressed me. The wiring conections are also very well done. I also received it quicker than expected.

Makita 24.5cc Commercial Duty 4-Stroke Gas Powered Blower #BHX2500

Powerful 24.5 cc. commercial duty engine. Quick start - low compression engine for easy starting. Large 17.7 oz. fuel tank for longer fun time. Lightweight (9.8 lbs.) for easy maneuverability.* Improved configuration for easier refueling and maintenance. Improved exhaust emissions are EPA Phase II compliant while maintaining power and performance.
Customer Review: Great but buzzy blower
Plenty of power for most jobs, starts 1st or 2nd pull, no long cord needed to clear 1000' drive through the woods as electric blower needed, and most of all, no 2-stroke smoke odor over clothing when done. Fairly quiet too (still use ear protectors though). Only shortcoming is the vibration. Acceptable, but the most I've ever seen on a blower, and need to switch hands more often than others. Weird gyroscopic action when turning it too, but more entertaining than a problem. Still my favorite blower though.
Customer Review: A Pleasure to Use
I've owned this blower for a couple of months now. I purchased it as a replacement for my old electric blower. It has plenty of power for my suburban needs. It's also quiet and runs on regular gas (no mixing gas and oil like a 2 stroke). All of these attributes are great, but the really great thing is that it starts reliably after 1 or 2 pulls just like my trusty Honda mower. Compared to the 2 strokes that I have dealt with the Robin 4 stroke in this blower is a real pleasure to work with. I would easily pay $50 extra to have the 4 stroke in this Makita. I wish their 4 stroke string trimmer was a bit cheaper. I would trade up and ditch my old Echo 2 stroke in a heartbeat if it were close to the price of this blower.

I've had my blower for 13 yrs. and it still runs like a top. I've had one service call on it for $40+ and that's all. Somtimes it doesn't want to start well after sitting all winter, but once it's going - it's going! The best 50th birthday present I got.

World #20-6029 Fireplace/Stove Blower

Thermostatically Controlled Blower, Fits All Kozy World Stoves & Fireplaces, That Accept A Blower.
Customer Review: Bought someone elses JUNK
I purchased the Bainbridge II Dual Fuel Freestanding Stove with this optional blower attachment. The Stove works great for its intended purpose. The blower on the other hand did not work at all. When I purchased these items I believed they were going to be brand new products like the item description stated. The blower came in a box that had the return receipt of another customer still inside it. So, someone else returned it because it didn't work and then the company resells it to meas brand new! I have exchanged a couple of e-mails with the company about it but then nothing. They have gone unheard of! I'm now out $100 because this company refused to stand behind their sale. Look around for a different seller.

Weed Eater 12 Amp 215 MPH Electric Blower/Vac #EBV215

The Weed Eater 12-Amp electric blower/vacuum is ideal for cleaning up after mowing, or cleaning out the garage. Using the included vacuum kit you can also use the weed eater to pick up leaves and debris around the yard. This powerful, two-speed, electric blower produces up to 215 mph air velocity, while delivering 360 cfm air volume. The 16:1 mulching reduction reduces yard debris from 16 bags down to one.
Customer Review: Decent machine but loud, cumbersome
I bought this from Lowe's after reading the good reviews in Consumer Reports. I've had it for about two or three years and after only a few uses, the zipper on the vacuum bag broke. Zipper is very cheaply made. Converting the machine from a blower to a vac and vice versa is more difficult than it should be. It's loud, but they all are. If you use anything thicker than a 14 gauge power cord, you cannot utilize the cord holder on the machine and the cord will fall off the plug after a short time of use and the machine will of course cut off. So... you'll have to hold the cord and the machine with one hand. This is a pain in the a$$! It does blow/suck hard enough to move leaves like it supposed to and I guess if you are careful enough with the zipper and don't mind the aggravating conversion and power cord issue, then it's ok, at best. Once again, Consumer Reports missed the mark by highly recommending this. It's an average to below average product.
Customer Review: Don't buy this
I bought this item and immediately after the warranty expired, 2 years, the plastic developed two holes in the side of the plastic housing. The holes allow debris to exit and this debris can injur someone that is NOT wearing gloves. The unit was sucking up leaves when this ocurred. Sincerely

Troy-Bilt 31cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Blower/Vacuum #TB320BV

The Troy Bilt 31cc gas blower / vac has a Spring Assisted starting system. It can generate up to 205 MPH and has a dual operating handle.
Customer Review: Do NOT buy this blower
Right after I purchased this product in the fall, it ran ok first couple of times. However, I used it once this spring , took awhile to start and then took several minutes of running to get up to full power. Since then the blower will not restart (even followed troy-bilt's convoluted instructions on side of blower), took it to local Troy-bilt Service, who claims I didn't have the mix right so will not be covered on warranty. I used a 40:1 mix and the same fuel worked fine in my Ryobi 2-cycle engines with no problems. Bottom line: Blower is too bulky, throttle lever gets in the way, engine is poor quality, waste of money.
Customer Review: Buyer Beware
I purchased my first TB320BV a couple years ago. After 9 months the motor basically burned up with black yuk coming out of the cylinder head. I didn't mis-treat it but I did expect the unit to be able to run 2-3 hours at a time during the Fall season. Anyway, I threw it away and purchased another one, yes, you read right. After less than a year this one burned up as well. The authorized repair shop said "not another one" and not to get my hopes up for a timely repair, he had 3 others in front of mine. I called "Troy Bilt customer service" who gave me the usual "what did I do wrong? Did I follow the manual?" etc. I asked them to call the authorized repair and help me get it repaired. They basically said "not my job mon." So it's still at the repair shop for over a year. If you want a 20 minute blower/vac this may work for you, as for me, Never Ever Again will MTD get my money.

Troy-Bilt Mulchinator 12 Amp Electric Blower/Vacuum #TB125QS

Mulchinator electric blower with a 12 amp engine. Blows up to 157MPH and includes a bag that holds 3/4 of a bushel. Quick Shift blower/vac design that comes with a shoulder strap.
Customer Review: Stay Away from this Model!
After reading the positive and negative reviews on this item, I reluctantly bought this model since it had the features I needed (blow & vac). First of all, the bag zipper split after a few uses. The new bag costs half of what the entire model cost!!! Then the motor smoked. The unit was still on warranty and I took it in for warranty work. The repairman stated that he has had the same problem with like-models and the manufacturer won't cover the repair. It cost me big bucks for something that should have been covered under warranty. The repairman stated I might have persurvered, but it would have taken time and cost more money. He didn't want to hassle with the manufacturer. My recommewndation: Buy another brand and save you grief.
Customer Review: DISAPPOINTING AT BEST
THE FIRST TROY BUILT BLOWER/VACUUM I BOUGHT HAD AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM IN THE SWITCH THAT WOULD GIVE ME A MILD SHOCK WHEN TURNING THE UNIT ON. AFTER THE FOURTH OR FIFTH USE, THE UNIT BEGAN SMOKING. I HAD PURCHASED THE UNIT IN DECEMBER, AND IT WAS NOW MAY. I CONTACTED AMAZON AND WITHOUT ANY HASSEL THEY AGREED TO REPLACE IT. WHEN MY SECOND ONE ARRIVED, I OPEN THE BOX TO TEST THE MOTOR/SWITCH TO SEE IF I'D GET SHOCKED. THE SHOCK CAME WHEN AFTER 20 SECONDS, THE IMPELLER CAME LOOSE OR WAS BROKEN. I PUT THE MOTOR BACK IN THE BACK AND IMMEDIATELY RETURNED IT. AMAZON IS REFUNDING MY ORIGINAL PURCHASE. I'VE SINCE BOUGHT ANOTHER BRAND.Troy-Bilt Mulchinator 12 Amp Electric Blower/Vacuum #TB125QS

Troy-Bilt 32cc 4-Cycle Gas Powered Backpack Blower with Padded Harness #TB4BP

The Troy-Bilt 32cc gas backpack blower with the new padded harness technology makes is easier and more comfortable to get rid of leaves. This blower has a compression release starting system and a fully tensioned multi-material suspension system. The backpack blower can generate up 150 MPH and 480 CFM. This blower has a 4-cycle gas engine which means no oil and gas mix is needed. This model comes with a 2-year manufactures warranty.
Customer Review: Katies helper
I liked this item from the start. It came out of its shipping box needing minor assembly. After filing the sump with the supplied oil and regular gas in the tank,(no mix required as it is aa 4-cycle engine), I followed the 1-2-3 directions, then gave the starter rope 5 or 6 easy pulls and the machine was running for the first time. After allowing the engine to warm for a couple of minutes, I swung the unit up into the 'back-pack' position, easily by myself. The controls were comfortable to operate, so I proceeded to blow off my driveway. The amount of air flow was more than adequate for the job, with a lot lower noise level than others I have used. The one minor draw back that I encountered was that there is apparently some sort of governor on the engine that regulates the engine to a seemingly lower RPM than neccessary. The power allowed was more than adequate for my applications and did keep the noise to a minimum. (no high-pitched whine)Troy-Bilt 32cc 4-Cycle Gas Powered Backpack Blower with Padded Harness #TB4BP I am looking forward to several years of great service from this product
Customer Review: Very good value
Not having to mix oil with the gas makes it easier to operate. It has adequate air flow(150 MPH)to do the job with the 32cc engine and it costs about $175 less than the heavier more powerful other brand model with 180 MPH air flow and 55cc 2 cycle engine that I had in the past. The air tube comes in twist together sections that potentially could leak air. It starts easily and runs well. I recommend this blower.

Black & Decker BV2500 12-AMP Electric Blower/Vacuum/Mulcher

Powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use, this three-in-one blower, vacuum, and mulcher helps clear off your yard, patio, deck, and walkways--even wet leaves and twigs are no match for this heavy-duty tool. Operation is simple: to switch from blowing to vacuum mode, just press the push-button. And you'll never have to worry about clogs slowing you down, thanks to the vacuum's Vortex system. Additionally, the BV2500 condenses 10 bags of raked leaves into just one bag of mulched leaves and works quietly, making yard work more pleasant. For added peace of mind, it comes with a 2-year warranty.
Customer Review: Excellent tool for the money
Although my BV2500 has developed the major problem cited in many reviews,it took more than 10 years of high volume leaf vacuuming before it failed. Had 1/2 acre with many trees (60 plus) now have 1/3 acre with several. It did as good a job as any homeowner line of tools could be expected to. No tears in the shoulder bag although 99% of the time I use the leaf collection system and no noticable impeller wear (of course I didn't try to vacuum any items that it wasn't intended for (rocks large twigs etc.), Silly old me, I try to use a tool for what it is intended (leaves). Will I buy another? You bet I just ordered one today, and if it only lasts several years I'm still way ahead, at $54.00 Amazon) no tax and free delivery. Use it for what it is and take care of it as you would all your other tools.
Customer Review: Mulching? What mulching?
Earlier reviews complained about difficulty in finding a button for mulching. I guess they were right; I couldn't find one. The instructions just say the leaves will be mulched as they go through the impeller. After vacuuming a bunch of leaves and dumping them into a recycle bin, I couldn't really see any evidence of mulching. The blower and vacuum work very well, however. Don't make the mistake of trying to vacuum leaves from loose dirt; you'll suck up a lot of dirt. Blow the leaves into a pile and then vacuum them. Still, I like this tool. It's much quieter and easier to use than my gas blower.

Customer Review: Excellent Air Mover
I needed to move air around server racks in a computer center. An engineer suggested a ductwork solution that would have cost a few thousand $. For under three hundred $ I have three of these daisy-chained, running 24/7. We have had an episode of reduced air conditioning function and these fans saved the day. At full speed these beauties kept the racks cool and at only 3 amps on the circuit. One terrific investment.
Customer Review: I agree!
Absolutely the way to go. I agree with the other 2 reviews; it is quiet and does move the air. Plus the power cord and the outlets on the unit let you know that it is designed to be used as an extension and accessory outlet "device". Very good stuff and worth the money.

Worx TriVac WG500 12-Amp All-in-One Electric Blower/Mulcher/Vacuum

The WORX TriVac All-in-One Compact Blower/Mulcher/Vac has the versatility to change jobs with just the flip of a switch. Because there are no tubes to switch between tasks, you can blow away debris at 210 mph, then easily change to vacuuming dry leaves at up to 14 gallons per minute in seconds. The angled nose and comfortable handle make operation of the TriVac easy enough for any user. And with its powerful 12 amp motor, this tool makes an efficient, environmentally friendly alternative to gasoline-powered tools.

The TriVac's unique compact, lightweight design makes it more versatile and easier to handle than other blowers. View larger.

Change from blow to vac with a flip of the switch. View larger.

The angled nose makes it easy to clear low areas and to reach under decks and furniture. View larger.
Comfortable Design Makes For Light Work
ErgoSum Design Technology allows you to hold the TriVac with a natural, comfortable grip, and its light weight of just 8.4 pounds and wrap-around soft grip mean you can operate it with one arm. The compact size also makes it easy to store, and there are no extra tubes to lug around when taking care of your grounds.

Environmentally Friendly, Efficient Electric Motor
Because it runs on a 12 Amp electric motor, the TriVac makes a much more environmentally friendly choice than its gasoline-powered counterparts. The electric motor runs at about 70 decibels, significantly reducing noise pollution, and it has none of the emissions associated with gas-powered engines. The electric power still packs a punch: when used as a blower, the TriVac's air speed of 210 mph is strong enough to clear away wet leaves and other heavy debris. The adjustable air regulator allows you to reduce air flow when working around delicate plants and preventing dust ups. Flip the switch to vacuum mode, and turn mounds of dry leaves into mulch in minutes, perfect for compost piles or ground cover. The TriVac's 10 to 1 mulch ratio makes easy work of large jobs.

Innovative, Durable Design
The TriVac's innovative angled tube makes it easy to clear debris under cars, furniture, and equipment in your yard or garage. The collector bag empties quickly thanks to a quick-connect coupler, and it's constructed of breathable nylon fabric to keep the air flowing freely. Cleaning the TriVac is simple; just push a button to open the impeller housing to free any clogs. Its sturdy ABS plastic construction means you can put the TriVac through the rigors of everyday use for many seasons to come.

Customer Review: bag broke after usihg 2 times/very poor customer service
After the second use the zipper on the bag broke. Contacting customer service has been a nightmare. They don't answer the phone and a machine asks you to leave a call back number, which they say they will return in 24-48 hours, never happened. Finally after 2 weeks I finally got a hold of someone. They would not provide me with a phone # that was not a 1-800 number or physical address for their company or let me talk to a supervisor (said they were all busy on other phone calls. They did consent to replace the bag, but I am not sure this is a good idea if their customer service stinks. Seriously considering returning the whole unit.
Customer Review: much better units out there
this product is a cool idea...a leaf blower that turns vacuum w/the flip of a switch. Problem is, it doesn't do it nearly as well as it could or should. First, the impeller is plastic. One errant rock or hard piece of bark sucked up in the vacuum, and expect your blades to chip. Mine chipped on the first use. Next, the bag is problematic. It's easy to click into place, but very difficult to dislodge. Mine just would not budge at all. No amount of force, or coaxing or balance could get the bag off. I have read other people have had the same problem. Finally, the design. The end of the unit is angled up. Which seems like a good idea until you use it. Because the motor is the heaviest feature, the unit naturally wants to tip backward in your hand--the opposite direction of the angle on the nozzle. It just means your hand/forearm gets tired a lot quicker. the power of the blower/vac is pretty decent. But that's about all I can say for this gadget. For the money, I expected better. A lot better. I sent this back, and bought a Toro Ultra for $20 less. It doesn't have that "one touch" toggling between blower and vac, but it does have a metal impeller, is simple to assemble and use, weighs less, mulches great, has variable speed and doesn't have nearly the "hang ups" that this unit has.

Black & Decker BV-005 Replacement Collection Bag for Blowers and Vacuums

Compatible with any and all of Black & Decker blower/vacuum units, this heavy-duty bag holds up to 2 bushels. Additionally, because it comes complete with a handy reinforced zipper for durability and adjustable strap for comfort (which minimizes the need for raking or bending over to continually empty the bag), the #BV-005 can help make yard work a little easier on your back. For added convenience, it also includes a 2-year warranty.
Customer Review: Fine replacement, but nozzle sticks
Replaced my old bag when its zipper broke, and the replacement works fine (given the low demands placed on it). Only drawback is that it is often difficult to unscrew it from the blower/vac. The bag's nozzle has two "nubs" that insert into two channels on the vac, and although they all appear to be fine, it often sticks when trying the unscrew the bag. A minor issue. Otherwise, fine.
Customer Review: replacement for Leaf Hog
Needed a replacement bag for my Black & Decker Leaf Hog. The old bag wore out after 3 or 4 years, and this was the one. Wish they would've used the model name too, as I'd forgotten the model number. But this was it! Hooked up perfectly, same zipper and shoulder line. No improvements over the old one, but no supposed improvements either, so no complaints. Ask for one like the old one, and that is what I got.
